Introduction

Your trust is very important to us. We fully understand the importance of personal information to you. In accordance with laws and regulations such as the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China, the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, the Data Security Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Provisions on the Scope of Necessary Personal Information for Common Types of Mobile Internet Applications, and with reference to national standards such as Information Security Technology - Personal Information Security Specification (GB/T 35273-2020), we adopt corresponding security measures and make every effort to protect your personal information in a secure and controllable manner. Accordingly, Shanghai Zipin Network Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "Zipin") has formulated these User Privacy Terms (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement" or "this Policy") and reminds you as follows:

This Agreement applies to all services provided by PandaResume. If we establish a separate privacy policy for a specific service, that service shall be governed by its corresponding privacy policy. In particular, this Agreement does not apply to services provided to you by other third parties, nor does it apply to services within PandaResume that have separately established privacy policies. Before using any PandaResume services, please be sure to read and fully understand this Agreement carefully, and only begin using the services after confirming your full understanding and consent. This Policy separately identifies the necessary scope of personal information collection for job-search and recruitment applications, and we encourage you to focus on it. We will not collect personal information unrelated to the services we provide. If you do not agree to the collection and use of personal information required for services beyond the basic functions, please do not enable the extended business functions of the PandaResume application. The ways in which you may exercise your personal information rights include, but are not limited to, access, correction, deletion, account cancellation, refusal of personalized display, and timely response, so as to ensure your control over your personal information. We will strictly process your personal information in accordance with this Policy and your consent. If you do not agree to this Policy, you should stop using PandaResume products and/or services. Unless otherwise agreed, the definitions used in this Agreement shall have the same meanings as those in the PandaResume Service Agreement.

I. How We Collect and Use Your Information

In accordance with national laws and regulations, where network operators provide services such as information publishing and instant communication to users, they are required to request users to provide true identity information when entering into agreements with users or confirming the provision of services. If users do not provide true identity information, network operators may not provide the relevant services. To comply with legal requirements and better provide you with services, we will collect and use your personal information. We undertake to collect, use, store, and transmit user information in accordance with the principle of minimum necessity, and to inform you of the purpose and scope of use of relevant information through the user agreement and privacy policy. The personal information that we need and/or may need to collect and use includes the following two categories:

  1. To provide you with the basic functions of our products and/or services and to fulfill obligations under laws and regulations, you must authorize us to collect and use the necessary information. If you refuse to provide such information, you may be unable to use our products and/or services normally.

  2. To provide you with additional functions of our products and/or services, you may choose to separately consent or refuse to allow us to collect and use the relevant information. If you refuse to provide it, you may be unable to use the relevant additional functions or achieve the intended functional effect, but this will not affect your use of the basic functions. We especially remind you that we are committed to creating diversified products and/or services to meet your needs. Because we provide many types of products and/or services, and different users may choose different specific products and/or services, the basic functions or additional functions and the corresponding types and scope of personal information collected and used may vary. Please refer to the specific product and/or service functions actually provided. The specific functional scenarios we provide include:

(1) Account Registration / Login

[Account Registration] When you register for our products and/or services, in order to help you complete the registration process, you need to provide your mobile phone number and complete verification so that we can create your account.

[Account Login] When you use your registered account to log in to our products and/or services, you need to provide your mobile phone number and complete verification.

[Third-Party Authorized Login] When you log in using an account from a third-party platform (for example, WeChat), you authorize us to obtain relevant information under that third-party account that you use to log in (including your mobile phone number, subject to the scope of your authorization), so that it can be bound to your PandaResume account and allow you to log in directly and use the relevant products and/or services. To satisfy the real-name requirements of relevant laws and regulations, when you log in to our products and/or services through a third-party platform account, you must bind your mobile phone number upon first authorization. The above information is necessary for these functions. If you do not provide such information, you may be unable to register or log in normally.

(2) Generating Text / Images, Sharing, and Downloading

When you use PandaResume functions, in order to provide you with consistent services, we need to collect your device information and log information. The aforementioned log information includes your operation and activity logs, including your browsing history, generation history, sharing history, download history, and access dates. Such information is necessary for these functions. If you do not provide such information, you may be unable to use the above functions normally.

(3) Information Upload and Interactive Communication

PandaResume generates content through artificial intelligence models based on the content you voluntarily type in and select. Therefore, when you use PandaResume, we will process the content information that you voluntarily type in and select. Such information is necessary for providing this service. We will adopt strict encryption measures during the collection, transmission, and storage of such information in accordance with legal requirements to ensure the security of your information.

(4) Providing Security Protection for You

To improve the security of the services provided by us, our affiliates, and our partners, to protect you, other users, or the public from harm to personal or property safety, to better prevent security risks such as phishing websites, fraud, network vulnerabilities, computer viruses, cyberattacks, and network intrusions, and to more accurately identify situations that violate laws, regulations, or rules related to PandaResume, we may use or integrate your membership information, transaction information, device information, service log information, and information lawfully shared by our affiliates and partners with your authorization, in order to comprehensively assess account and transaction risks, perform identity verification, detect and prevent security incidents, and take necessary recording, auditing, analysis, and handling measures in accordance with the law.

(5) Ordering and Payment

When you purchase our products and/or services, such as using resume-writing tools, purchasing memberships, ordering online application resumes, printing resumes, or digital resumes, we may need to collect some or all of the following personal information depending on the type of service: transaction service information, transaction amount, order time, order number, order status, payment method, and payment status. We collect this information to help you complete transactions smoothly, protect transaction security, enable order inquiries, and provide customer service. Such information is necessary for these functions. If you do not provide such information, you may be unable to participate in the above activities normally.

(6) Customer Service and Dispute Resolution

When you contact us or submit an application for dispute resolution, in order to protect the security of your account and systems, we need you to provide necessary personal information to verify your membership identity. To facilitate contacting you, helping you resolve issues as quickly as possible, or recording the handling plans and results of relevant issues, we may retain records of your communications, correspondence and/or calls with us and related content (including account information, other information you provide to prove relevant facts, or your contact information). If you consult, complain about, or provide suggestions regarding a specific order, we will use your account information and order information.

(7) Other Value-Added Services

1. Services Based on System Permissions

To provide you with more convenient and higher-quality products and/or services and improve your experience, we may collect and use your personal information by enabling system permissions while providing services to you. If you do not agree to enable the relevant permissions, it will not affect your use of PandaResume's basic services, but you may be unable to obtain the user experience brought by these services. You may decide at any time to enable or disable these permissions by yourself. Please note that enabling any permission means that you authorize us to collect and use the relevant personal information in order to provide you with the corresponding service. Disabling any permission means that you withdraw that authorization. We will no longer continue to collect and use relevant personal information based on that permission, nor will we be able to continue providing the service corresponding to that permission. Your decision to disable a permission will not affect information collection and use previously carried out based on your authorization.

2. Services Related to Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies and similar device identification technologies are commonly used on the internet. When you use our services, we may use such technologies to send one or more Cookies or anonymous identifiers (collectively, "Cookies") to your device in order to collect, identify, and store information relating to your access to and use of this product. We promise that Cookies will not be used for any purpose other than those described in this Privacy Policy. We primarily use Cookies to ensure the secure and efficient operation of products and/or services, confirm the security status of your account and transactions, troubleshoot crashes and latency issues, and help you avoid repeatedly filling in forms or re-entering search content. Most browsers provide users with the ability to clear cached browser data. You may perform such data-clearing operations, or adjust your level of acceptance of Cookies, or reject our Cookies. Because of these changes, you may be unable to use services or corresponding functions that depend on Cookies.

II. How We Share, Transfer, Publicly Disclose, Store, and Transmit Personal Information

(1) Sharing

We will not share your personal information with any companies, organizations, or individuals other than Zipin and its affiliates, except in the following circumstances:

  1. Sharing in statutory circumstances: We may share your personal information externally in accordance with laws and regulations, litigation needs, dispute resolution needs, or lawful requests made by administrative or judicial authorities.
  2. Sharing with your explicit consent: After obtaining your explicit consent, we will share your personal information with other parties.
  3. Sharing with affiliates: To facilitate the provision of services to you through PandaResume, recommend information that may interest you, identify abnormalities in membership accounts, and protect the personal and property safety of PandaResume affiliates, other users, or the public from harm, your personal information may be shared with our affiliates and/or their designated service providers. We will only share necessary personal information, and such sharing will be limited to the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. If we share your sensitive personal information or if our affiliates change the purpose for using or processing personal information, we will again seek your authorization and consent.

(2) Transfer

We will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual, except in the following circumstances:

  1. Transfer with your explicit consent: After obtaining your explicit consent, we may transfer your personal information to other parties.
  2. Transfer in the event of merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation: If Zipin is involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy liquidation, or other similar transaction involving the transfer of personal information, we will require the new company or organization holding your personal information to continue to be bound by this Agreement. Otherwise, we will require that company, organization, or individual to seek your authorization and consent again.

(3) Public Disclosure

We will only publicly disclose your personal information under the following circumstances:

  1. After obtaining your explicit consent, or based on your active choice, we may publicly disclose your personal information.
  2. If we determine that you have violated laws and regulations or seriously violated agreements or rules related to the PandaResume platform, or in order to protect the personal and property safety of PandaResume platform users or the public from harm, we may disclose your personal information in accordance with laws and regulations or with your consent, including the relevant violation and the measures already taken against you by the PandaResume platform.

(4) Storage

In accordance with the Cybersecurity Law, we will retain your browsing log information for at least six months. As for your other personal information, we will retain it only for the period necessary to provide PandaResume-related services to you. We will retain information you publish, comments, and transaction-related information while you have not withdrawn or deleted it and while your account has not been cancelled. When you cancel your account, we will stop using and delete the above information. The foregoing information will be stored within the territory of the People's Republic of China. If cross-border transmission is required, we will separately obtain your authorization and consent. Overseas jurisdictions may have different data protection laws, or even no relevant laws at all. In such cases, we will ensure that your personal information receives protection equivalent to that provided within the People's Republic of China. For example, we may ask for your consent to cross-border transfer of personal information or implement security measures such as data de-identification before cross-border data transfer.

III. How We Protect Your Information

  1. We take reasonable and feasible security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, public disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss. We will make every effort to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to personal information, and we will conduct security and privacy protection training to strengthen employees' awareness of the importance of protecting personal information.

  2. We will take reasonable and feasible measures to avoid collecting irrelevant personal information. We will retain your personal information only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Agreement, unless the law requires mandatory retention. We will delete your personal information or anonymize it in accordance with applicable law.

  3. The internet is not an absolutely secure environment. When using PandaResume services, please properly protect your personal information and provide it to others only when necessary. If you discover that your personal information, especially your account or password, has been leaked, please immediately contact PandaResume customer service so that we can take corresponding measures according to your request. Please note that information you voluntarily share or even publicly disclose when using our services may involve your own or others' personal information, and may even involve sensitive personal information. Please consider more carefully whether to share or publicly disclose such information when using our services. Please use complex passwords to help us ensure the security of your account. We will do our best to protect the security of any information you send us. If our physical, technical, or management safeguards are damaged, resulting in unauthorized access to, public disclosure of, tampering with, or destruction of information, and causing harm to your lawful rights and interests, we will bear corresponding legal liability.

  4. In the unfortunate event of a personal information security incident, we will inform you in accordance with laws and regulations of the basic circumstances and possible impact of the incident, the disposal measures we have taken or will take, suggestions for you to independently prevent and reduce risks, and remedial measures for you. We will notify you of relevant incident information by email, letter, phone call, push notification, or other means. Where it is difficult to notify each personal information subject individually, we will issue announcements in a reasonable and effective manner. At the same time, we will also report the handling of personal information security incidents to regulatory authorities as required.

IV. How You Manage Your Information

You may access and manage your information in the following ways:

(1) Inquire About, Correct, and Supplement Your Information

You have the right to inquire about, correct, or supplement your information. You may do so yourself by logging in to PandaResume, entering the "My PandaResume" homepage, and clicking on your personal account to inquire about, correct, or delete personal profile information and account-related information, as well as change or withdraw previously granted authorizations. You may also contact customer service through the official website to manually cancel your account.

(2) Delete Your Information

Under the following circumstances, you may request that we delete your personal information:

  1. If our processing of personal information violates laws and regulations.
  2. If we collect or use your personal information without obtaining your explicit consent.
  3. If our processing of personal information seriously violates our agreement with you.
  4. If you no longer use our services, or if you have proactively cancelled your account.
  5. If we permanently stop providing services to you.

(3) Restrict Automated Decision-Making by Information Systems

In certain business functions, we may make decisions solely based on non-manual automated decision-making mechanisms, including information systems and algorithms. If such decisions significantly affect your lawful rights and interests, you have the right to request that we provide an explanation, and we will also provide complaint channels or remedies on the premise of not infringing PandaResume's trade secrets, the rights and interests of other users, or the public interest.

(4) Responding to Your Above Requests

For security purposes, you may need to submit a written request or otherwise prove your identity. We may first ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. We will respond as soon as possible. If you are dissatisfied, you may also file a complaint through PandaResume customer service. In principle, we do not charge fees for your reasonable requests, but for repeated requests made multiple times or requests exceeding reasonable limits, we may charge a certain fee as appropriate. We may refuse requests that are unrelated to your identity, are unreasonably repetitive, require excessive technical means (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing current practices), pose risks to the lawful rights and interests of others, or are impractical.

V. How We Protect Your Personal Information

We attach great importance to the security of your personal information. To this end, we adopt multi-layer security technical measures as well as supporting organizational structures and management systems that comply with industry standards, to prevent your personal information from being leaked, damaged, misused, accessed without authorization, disclosed without authorization, or altered to the greatest extent possible. These include:

(1) Data Security Technical Measures

  1. Data transmission security: We use SSL encrypted transmission technology to protect the security of data during transmission, and use appropriate protection mechanisms to prevent data from malicious attacks. In addition, we use security measures such as AES encryption algorithms or SHA256 hashing algorithms for sensitive information.
  2. Security control over data access and use: We implement strict data access control mechanisms, adopt multiple identity authentication technologies, and monitor activities involving the processing of your personal information to prevent illegal access and unauthorized use of data. We also monitor the entire data life cycle to prevent unauthorized access to, public disclosure of, use of, modification of, accidental or intentional damage to, or loss of your personal information.

(2) Data Security Organizational and Management Measures

  1. In accordance with relevant regulatory requirements, we have appointed a person in charge of personal information protection and established a personal information protection working body. We have also established relevant internal control management procedures, following the principle of minimum authorization, strictly setting information access permissions for personnel who may have access to your personal information and controlling the scope of knowledge of personal information.
  2. We have established internal rules and systems for secure data use to ensure that the processing of your personal information in collection, transmission, use, storage, transfer, and destruction meets the security requirements of laws and regulations. In accordance with relevant legal requirements, for staff who need to access personal information, we require approval from the person in charge of personal information protection or their authorized management personnel, record access activities, and adopt technical measures to avoid unlawful access to, modification of, copying of, or downloading of personal information.
  3. We organize employees to participate in security and privacy protection training and require them to complete prescribed assessments, so as to enhance their awareness of the importance of protecting personal information.
  4. We also adopt other feasible organizational and management security measures.

VI. How We Store Your Personal Information

  1. Personal information collected and generated during our operations within China will be stored within China and will not be transmitted across borders. However, please note that companies conducting recruitment through PandaResume products and/or services may include multinational companies and overseas groups, and such companies may transfer your personal information to their overseas headquarters. Please refer to the privacy policies of each recruiting company for specific practices.

  2. We undertake that, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations, we will retain your personal information only for the shortest time necessary to achieve the purposes for which you authorized its use. However, exceptions apply where laws, regulations, normative documents, or government policies or orders require otherwise, or where we retain your personal information to fulfill compliance obligations. For example, the E-commerce Law of the People's Republic of China requires that product and service information and transaction information be retained for not less than three years from the date the transaction is completed; the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China requires the adoption of technical measures to monitor and record network operation status and cybersecurity incidents and to retain relevant network logs for not less than six months.

  3. After the above retention period expires, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.

  4. If we cease operations due to poor business performance or other reasons, unless otherwise provided by laws or normative documents, we will notify you of such circumstances, promptly stop collecting your personal information, and delete or anonymize the personal information already collected.

  5. This platform is intended only for users aged eighteen (18) and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information of minors under the age of eighteen. If you discover that we have inadvertently collected a minor's personal information, please notify us immediately and we will delete the relevant data as soon as possible.

VII. How This Agreement Is Updated

Our privacy policy may change. Without your explicit consent, we will not restrict the rights you are entitled to under this Agreement. We will notify you of any changes to the privacy policy through public notices on the PandaResume website, app, or official WeChat account, and may also provide you with pop-up notifications.

If you are not satisfied with our response, especially if you believe that our handling of personal information has harmed your lawful rights and interests, you may also seek a solution by filing a lawsuit with the court having jurisdiction over Zipin's place of domicile.
